What services are offered?

At TLC we offer sessions for ;

1) Spiritually Integrated Counseling for faith-based clients. It is a holistic approach, integrating Islamic spirituality into each session dealing with challenging life issues.

2) ASEP classes for step-by-step guidance, spiritual development training provided. Students work on their progress by utilizing tools such as worksheets, assessments, and self-reflection forms.

3) Transformation Coaching for clients who wish to eliminate mental obstacles that limit their progress (not related to faith issues). Students learn useful strategies to overcome anxiety, minor depression, and social anxiety.

Q1- How do I schedule my appointment?

Upon purchasing coaching, you'll receive further instructions on how to book a time for your appointment.

Q2- What is expected of clients

Commitment to working with the TLC.

  • The client is required to work on the assignment between sessions and practice the coping skills, techniques, and strategies that are taught by the coach to make progress.

  • Working with TLC is a collaborative relationship that encourages the client to take responsibility for success, "Your success is my success."

Q3- Who will benefit from TLC service?

Those who have minor depression, stress-related issues, anxiety, faith crisis, and life-challenging situations that become an obstacle in your progress, will benefit from coaching sessions.

Q4- Can I purchase coaching more than once?

Absolutely! If you find yourself in need of coaching more than once, simply purchase the coaching again.

Many clients have purchased services again to achieve new goals.

Q5- Who will NOT benefit from coaching & Counseling sessions?

People with severe mental health illness that requires clinical treatment such as; Bipolar disorder, Personality disorder, schizophrenia, Autism.


If you have serious mental health illness, it is better to see your clinical psychologist.


Life Coaching and counseling should not be confused with psychopathology or administering mental health treatment. It is a very specialized area of medicine and should NEVER be confused or blended with the role or capacity of a life coach, even though a life coach is trained by a professional psychologist and their practice is based on a psychological l model of learning they are not authorized to administer medication.

What is the difference between mental health and mental illness?

Mental health’ and ‘mental illness’ can cause confusion because both of the terms are used interchangeably that people often assume it is the same thing and there is no difference. Not everyone in life will experience a mental illness, but everyone will struggle through difficult life situations that affect psychological, spiritual, and mental well-being.

As stated by the World Health Organization,

There is no health without mental health".

What to expect during sessions ?

The Transformational Life Coach (TLC) will make an assessment during your first session and determine what is your specific need and what do you want to achieve.

  • TLC will analyze your situation, create a step by step plan to address your needs.

  • Task and exercises will be assigned for the future session.

  • Sessions generally vary between 8-12, usually offered weekly. But it can be modified according to your need.

  • TLC will break down each problem that you want to discuss into parts to bring awareness towards your own thoughts, feelings, and negative behavior.

  • TLC will help you come up with ways to challenge and change irrational, unrealistic or negative thought pattern (NTP) that is destructive or become an obstacle in the path of the self-recovery & self-improvement process.
